ABOUT US
At MAS Records, we are dedicated to helping young people reach their full potential in the music industry. We are a 501c3 non-profit, student-led record label that connects students with industry professionals to prepare them for their future career in songwriting, performance, engineering, music education, business or entertainment law. With experienced professionals helping out students, we prepare them for the real world scene. Our operating studios are equipped with cutting edge recording equipment for the best outcome in the production process. MAS Records was a result of several brainstorming sessions with industry professionals, teachers and students at Miami Arts Studio 6-12 @Zelda Glazer, that now was become a reality to help the artists in our community. We are opening the door to all artist and giving the opportunity to reach their dreams here at MAS Records.
Vision
Our vision is to provide students at Miami Arts Studio 6-12 @Zelda Glazer, a Miami-Dade County Public School, access to cutting edge recording technology, industry professionals, and widespread distribution of their musical works while educating them to common industry practices, procedures, and etiquette. Additionally, we expect to provide the framework to expand the concept to other arts magnet schools throughtout the state and nation.
Mission
By connecting industry leading professionals with outstading students from Miami-Dade County Public Schools, MAS Records, Inc. will provide students with the opportunity to gain hands-on music industry experience through mentorship thoughtout the professional quality production process: writing, recording, releasing, promoting, and performing.
